The Avanti team visited the new Avanti office space in Danu Desa, Kuala Lumpur that they have just taken up on a 2 year lease (with the option for a 1 year extension). The office space is very humble and modest providing sufficient space for the local team to be based at, to run training and leadership sessions and of course storage space for the resources. The trip to Hong Kong got off to a very promising start where Tony led a young commercial lawyer called Jay to Christ on the flight over.  As soon as Tony got to the right point in the conversation, Jay announced that he was a free thinker with little interest in Religion.  Before touchdown, it was so exciting to see Jay pray the prayer of salvation in genuine humility by the end of the conversation!

The Avanti Board of Directors for Asia Pacific (including: Robert Quay, Andrew Lim, Allan Yong & Vincent Jiam) held a strategic Church Leader’s lunch in Klang (32km west of Kula Lumpur). Tony Anthony delivered a comprehensive presentation of the mission, vision and direction of Avanti Ministries to strengthen local partnerships within the Klang network of Churches with the view of:

• providing effective evangelism training and equipping for local Christians;
• casting a vision to spread the Gospel across the district.
