Jamie had a tough start to life leaving him broken and confused. He began to self harm and turn to drink. Developing an aggressive attitude and mixing with the wrong crowd, he soon got involved in crime, as his life spiralled out of control with drink, drugs and homelessness. Leaving school with no qualifications, he joined the army and became a paratrooper. A new lifestyle emerged fuelled with violence, alcohol and prostitutes. However, through two close encounters with death, one during the invasion or Iraq, and later through a parachute malfunction, things were about to change. God had plans for Jamie’s life.
