i am from destiny church in glasgow. I have heard tony speak on previous visits to glasgow. Once again i
feel encouraged and inspired to reach out to others and share the transforming love of jesus. I was also
really inspired by jamies story. I would love to hear from the strong, godly women who are married to
these men - im sure they have some gems of wisdom to share. Please extend my thanks to tony for praying
for my husband. God bless.

Hello, My name is michael and i live in Auckland, New zealand, Last week i bought your book, taming the tiger, I finished it within five days and it was a truly remarkable story, But the reason i am emailing you is to say thank you, Your story really open something up inside me and made me fully realise some truths about god and the plans he has for us, Especially the parts where you were talking with people and they recounted how they were looking for some kind of message or vision, When they had in fact already experienced it without knowing, That was a major question in my life also, But after reading the book, It suddenly all made sense to me and because of that i knew i was was ready to dedicate myself to jesus, Last night i went to a meeting with a new zealand evangelist John Subritzky and took the altar call, It felt so right and he also spoke on some of the things that you mentioned thus i knew it was right for me to step up and accept him as my lord and saviour publicly, So once again, I would like to thank you for producing a fine book and telling your story..

Yours in god..
Michael..
God bless.

Hi Tony,
I just wanted to let you know, I recently read your book and thought it was fantastic. My brother, who is a christian and who also began his own outreach service/charity called House of Heroes, lent me the book a couple of months ago. I am not a big reader but i could not put it down. Although i am not a practising Christian and i have to admit, do not live my life by the way of the bible, i thought the message behind the book was fantastic. I found it so powerful that someones life could be so touched by God, and it was so interesting to see an insight in to the christian world. The giving, the selflessness, the caring and many other things.
The book made me laugh, weep and feel things i never have before, well done!!
regards
Adam

Good Evening Tony
You don’t know me, but you may remember a group of people in the waiting room of the Abbotsford Hospital in British Columbia Canada on August 12th. You we leaving the hospital when you said “Hi” and walked by, then all of a sudden you turned around, looked at me, and said “You were waiting here when I came in weren’t you”, and I replied “Yes, and yesterday too”. You then took your book out of you bag and gave it to me saying “My name is Tony Anthony, I was a world Kung Fu Champion, and this book is my story, you may enjoy reading it while you wait”. Well I started reading it immediately, and finally finished it yesterday, I’m not a fast reader. This is probably only the 5th book I have ever finished reading. Your story is fascinating and hit the spot for me. We were in the hospital on and off since Friday, August 10th with our Son-in-law (Armando). On Friday afternoon he was at work (He manages a Tim Horton’s in Chilliwack) and collapsed onto the floor. In a few seconds he was having what looked like a seizure. He was rushed by ambulance to the Chilliwack hospital, and was in the emergency until around 7:30 that evening. During that period he had around a dozen more seizures, but they said there was nothing wrong with him, and released him. His Wife, Cheryl (Our Daughter) is 7 months pregnant, and we decided it was not good for them to go home alone, and took them home to our house. During the balance of the evening, he had another few seizures before going to bed around 10:00 pm. Our daughter got up to go to work on Saturday morning, and he was having another seizure then, we brought him upstairs to the family room where he relaxed on the couch, and in a few minutes he had another. She went off to work and Dorothy (My wife) and I took watch over him from then on. He had another 3 or 4 seizures in short order, and we decided to take him back to emergency in Abbotsford, He stayed there until around 4:30 pm, during which he had probably another 20 seizures (Spells as they now call them). They called a “Social Worker” to talk to him when we were out having a coffee, and when we got back, around an hour later, they released him, saying “He never had any spells when you were gone”, basically saying it was our fault for causing stress in his life. They then released him saying that there was nothing wrong with him, but doubled the medication that the Chilliwack hospital put him on. We took him home, only for him to have about 4 – 6 more seizures before he went to bed. He slept well, and woke up on Sunday morning very tired. He almost immediately had another 2 seizures before taking his medication. He then rested for around an hour before having another few. My wife then left to pick up something for him to drink that had electrolytes in it, so he could have some energy. By the time she got home, Armando had a few more seizures, and had stopped breathing several times. He then stopped breathing too long for my comfort, and took way to long to start again. We called 911 and the ambulance arrived in a few minutes. He was seizing quite violently now as the paramedics worked on him to calm him down.  The brought him to the Abbotsford hospital again, and he was admitted finally for observation. That was Sunday when you met us in the waiting room. We were all quite exhausted by this point, and had lost our faith in the medical system. Our faith in God was boosted when you stopped and gave me the book. The first thing my wife said was “That man was God’s Angel”. I was immediately touched by your caring glance, and that you took the time to stop and give me the book. I was sitting there with my Wife, Son, Daughter, and Daughter-in-law, but it felt as if you had focused on me specifically. I was under a lot of guilt at that point as I had on the previous weekend got quite upset with my son-in-law, and felt it was me that had put him into this position. In reading your book, I began to realize again that God has forgiven me a long time ago for all my sins, and this is something that we have to use to become stronger. I and my wife were both brought up in Christian family, and have not had the ups and downs that you have experienced in you life. You have given us strength by helping us focus on God’s power, and realize that he is the ultimate healer.
Armando came home on Friday, August 17th, and has not had another “Spell” since August 16th. His mother, who is a real prayer warrior, was in Italy as this all happened, and came home on Thursday. Before she left, she had a whole village in Italy praying for Armando. Most of them were not believers, but she told them, “You watch, by the time I get home on Thursday, my God will have healed my Son”. As soon as she got home, she called her friends back in Italy and let them know the good news.
We are now all thankful Armando is home, they have taken his drivers license away, and given him 10 weeks off work. The finally diagnosed it as “Stress Related” and based a lot of it on the General Manager back at his work. She would not allow him to call in sick, and expected him to call in every day, even when on holidays, to make sure the store was running well. She has since been dismissed. We are all trusting that God will continue to show us the way to help Armando, and our entire family, to deal with stress in our lives. We know that this happened for a reason, and all know that someday we will be able to look back and see it so clearly.
Thank you again for taking the time to stop and give me your story, my wife and all my children are lined up to read your story next. Gods blessing in your ministry, and if you are ever back in Abbotsford, I would love to buy you lunch. Our Business is Abbotsford Printing Inc.
In Gods Love
Bob

Dear Brother Tony,
I met you briefly last night at the romford re:gen thing that you spoke at. Brother, this is a heartfelt encouragement, you are a man many aspire to be like, yet you have walked a path I would wish upon no-one. I realised something: God has treated you completely like a son, and I now know what it means when the Bible says about God's discipline toward us being Fatherly. Because you have been so willing and God has humbled you so profoundly, because he knew he wouldnt lose you through it. And what a wonderful son he has. Please continue to speak boldly of Jesus in even those little congregations, God did great things!
Let me share something with you to remind you of God's supremecy and divine will at work last night. Me (ash) and my friend (carl) who came from Ilford to see you, met two brothers last night. One was saved recently and the other went up after your call for prayer. The first brother my friend recognised from last year, because he, and some of his gang approached our youth group whilst in the park last summer with weapons like broken bottles. They requested our baseball bats and Carl asked the young guys in the youth to hand them over. He thentold them that we were from the church and that he didnt want to fight them, but instead blessed them and said that he (and the youth) would pray for their gang later. The confused gang shouted abuse but then left. Our youth prayed that if even one might be saved through this encounter it would be worth it. And he was, the main guy with the bottle had brought his brother to see you talk last night, and his brother was saved. His name is Anthony, i forget his brothers name, but pray for them both please.
Even more amazingly, the brother who was saved last night I knew from a similar incident. When i was about 17 in college, I had decided to follow Jesus but was having a seriously bad day, that night three boys from the estate came walking with me and chatting. To shorten a long story one of them swiped my mobile and ran. I was furious and grabbed the other two (as i was much bigger) I took them to the phone box. The police couldnt do much and in my anger I swore vengance. They promised to get my phone, but i heard nothing. I went to the estate with a large knife and a club. 30 boys would not approach me, but as i stood there in rage, a strange thing happened, the conviction of the Holy Spirit fell upon me. I realised I should love these guys and they were just like me, they needed Jesus to help them. I walked away before any confrontation and prayed for God to deal with my long lasting anger issues and forgave those guys asking that Jesus may come and meet them. He did!  The other brother was one of the young men who robbed me, and last night he was saved. Praise God. I must go now, but would like to email you again sometime if you are not too overloaded. God bless you and be with you in all you are doing, He is so wonderful!!
Your brother in Christ,
Ashlee

Hi There,

I don't know if I have contacted the right place but have been meaning to email for ages so thought I would give this email address a go.

I just wanted to say a huge thank-you to Tony Anthony and all the people who helped with his NZ tour earlier this year. At the time I have only been to Church a couple of times and more so out of curiosity then anything else. I did have neighbours who went to Church though and ended up going along to see Tony Anthony speak at the Founders Theatre in Hamilton.

Towards the end of the night Tony asked if there was anyone in the audience who was ready to ask Jesus into there hearts to go up the front, I was one of those people (although I was a bit of a whimp and had to ask my neighbour to come with me - which of course she did) anyway, becoming a Christian has made a huge difference in my life and I just wanted to say thank-you for the part that that night played in my journey.

I decided to get baptised, and so on the 9th of September 2007 the Church (Te Awamutu Bible Chapel) that I have now become a regular at had a baptismal service and was baptised. My parents came along (they dont normally go to Church either) and really enjoyed it.

Anyway, I wont go on, but please if it is at all possible if you could pass this on to Tony, and all the other people involved I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you and God Bless!

Andrea

Dear Tony,
I hope this finds you and your family well.  Last week I gave out my last copy of Taming The Tiger to a prisoner who had just come to Christ and I thought it high time I should write to thank you for the way you have blessed us here at Waikeria Prison in the course of your ministry. Every book I give out is stamped 'Waikeria Chaplaincy' and I chuckle that very few of these books ever return to me. From talking to the men I am sure every copy that you gave us has been read by 10 or more prisoners and continues to be passed around or taken on to other prisons. As I have given out 70 books so far that equates to a staggering number that have read about the Gospel, your testimony and the power of the Holy Spirit in your life.
The feedback from prisoners and officers alike has been very powerful and the impact of both your visits, generosity and testimony will be far reaching and long lasting. A man who came to Christ in the At Risk Unit several months ago is now thriving in a normal Unit, attending church, bible studies and doing correspondence studies as well. I had him up in my office for 2 hours last week as he shared the impact of Christ in his life with me. I gave him a copy of your book at the beginning of his walk and he told me that this was the most powerful book he'd ever read and that he received great healing as he worked through it, identifying with some of the issues you faced. He too was military trained to kill and was destined to work in Diplomatic Protection earlier in his life.
A number of men comment that they also found common ground with some things you went through and this helped them in their battles.
An officer I know well, a black belt karate Buddhist also shared with me recently that your book has made a big impact on him and he's now recommending it to prisoners in his wing. (Can you find me another copy padre?) I did!
During your last visit I was sitting down the back with a group of prisoners as you gave your presentation. You may recall the Unit, one of the hardest at Waikeria, and predominantly gang members. A man next to me turned and said in my ear 'compared to him we're just  fakers padre.'
My purpose in writing Tony is to thank you for being faithful in your service to the Lord, to encourage you to continue in which ever way that the Holy Spirit leads you and to know that your humility and generosity of spirit has caused prisoners here and elsewhere to be able to find strength and direction in their own lives. You will always be welcome here and the team are grateful for your two visits to our prison.
So take care my friend, wishing you every blessing from the Lord for all your family,
Yours in Christ,
Alan

Hi Tony :-)
In the attachment you can see a comment on Hyves (a popular internet community in the Netherlands - a bit like MySpace or Facebook, 5 million members and more popular than Google in our language area!!).
Let me give you a translation of what this guy (his name is DAVE) wrote, because this will make your day!
I want you all to read this book. If you've been to Opwekking last year, you must have heard Tony Anthony's story.

Also because of this book I started to believe. Sometimes I was crying in the bus while I was reading this book.
A girl in the bus asked me why I had tears in my eyes. Then I told her that this was because of the book. She didn't believe in Jesus, but she decided to buy this book anyway.
Now she is a believer too, and nobody in her cirle of friend was able to believe/understand this - even her parents couldn't understand.
This book works miracles, believe me...
What about that?
Blessings from your brother in Christ

Dear Tony, thanks for writing down your story. I just finished Taming the Tiger. (in Dutch) And I'm glad, that the Lord did these great things in your life! I'm longing for the same kind of experience in my own life. I didn't surrender yet, because of sins from the past. It's hard to talk about it. It's a secret since 1999, and I miss the courage to talk about it! It will cause prison for me and I'm so afraid for it! I don't dare to tell my relatives in fear to lose them! I would like to ask you to pray for me! Thanks for that.
Regards, André  (NL, Rotterdam)

Tony,
My name is Ken. I am a Grade 9 teacher in Brisbane, Queensland Australia. I just want to express my appreciation to you for your wonderful book. it is quite difficult finding gripping books for this particular age group. I read your book to them almost daily. They loved it and always wanted more when it was time to stop. Your book opened up many opportunities for discussions with the students. Many of the students I teach do not come from Christian homes and were very impacted from your book. I read your book to my last year students and they were also impacted. Only the Lord knows what fruit has come from your incredible testimony. We so desperately need godly heroes and my students hold you in such high regard. I have also personally been greatly moved by your testimony. So we just want to say a  BIG THANKYOU! Never stop sharing your incredible journey. Is your story available on video or DVD? I know you are a very busy man but would you take time to email a greeting to the Grade Nine students of Parklands Christian College. May God bless you and your family with His presence and His love always.
Ken

Dear Tony,
I have just finished reading your most inspiring book Taming The Tiger. It's a truly remarkable story, an amazing testimony of the power of God's love and grace. I've read and heard the stories of the remarkable and miraculous conversions of people like Nikki Cruz, but your story is in a sense even more amazing. Thanks for making the decision to write it so that many people would be blessed and encouraged.
I'm a blind person and I read the braille copy of your book sent from Torch Trust For The Blind, Leicershire, UK. I'm involved in the ministry to the blind and visually impaired in Malaysia. My wife and I have been actively involved in this ministry for more than 25 years. In fact, about 5 years ago I wrote a book called God's Dream, My Destiny, a book of teachings and personal testimonies.
Continue to serve the Lord faithly, and He will bless many lives through you. As you reach out to the countless lost souls, you will experience more of His love and power.
May The Lord richly bless your ministry and family.
In Christ,
Ray.

Dear Tony,

Just last year, you visited my school and told us about your life story.
I was greatly touched and amazed after hearing your life story. It was
because of you that sparked of that flame of God in me. Me listening to
your life story was the first step in my christian life. After hearing
you speak, i decided to buy your book and from there things just started
to happen. God seemed to be controlling everything that revolved around
me. It wasn't long before my friend invited me to his church where i
accepted Jesus as the saviour and as the lord. Althought it isn't easy
being the only chirstian in a family of free thinkers, God has been with
me. There were times where i swayed and there were times that my faith
were strong as ever. However throughtout the past one year, God has
really blessed me in so many ways. I would like to thank you for what
you have been doing and i sincerely hope that you will continue doing
what you do because you have been changing lifes. Thank You so much for
what you have done.

God bless,
Marcus

Hi Tony
Thank you for an amazing meeting at Littledown Centre, Bournemouth on 19th. July. My wife and I took our ex-neighbours Howard and Karen along and they enjoyed the evening - Karen went forward after the meeting had finished and picked up a bag of literature. We then all went out for dinner and discussed the evening - we are praying for them both to get gloriously saved. The evening was very challenging and I thought it was tremendous that your power-point presentation was available in booklet form in the bag.
I have since devoured "Taming the tiger" and my wife is reading it before passing it onto Karen.
In your book is Richard Knox the Dick Knox with a trombone who I would have met in Cyprus in the early sixties when I visited my parents in Larnaca as an 11 year old ( He was involved with the American Community Church in Nicosia then )?
My parents were SASRA missionaries to H.M.Forces in Cyprus in Larnaca 1960 - 64 and later in Limassol in the seventies.
Did you have contact with an Icthus church in Cyprus in Limassol led possibly by Andy Parnham? Which church was your fantastic friend Michael Wright associated? We praise God for his willingness to visit you.
We know Alan and Irene Kirkham from our days in Guildford at first the Millmead Centre and then at Guildford Park Evangelical church - it was a surprise to find them in your book!
Liz and I are members of Citygate Church, ( New Frontiers ). We are leaving for 2 weeks holiday in Cyprus on Wednesday to stay with dear friends who have relocated  there to help with the New Frontiers church in Larnaca.
Thank you again Tony for sharing your adventure with God with us - we pray that you and Sara are used even more mightily in the days ahead and see an even greater harvest for the King.
Yours
Jonathan and Liz

Dear Tony,

I have just finished your book 'Taming The Tiger' and all I can say is........ it has taken my breath away.

Your testimony has blown me away! I feel like my passion for Christ has been re-lighted. Our GOD is just INDESCRIBABLE!

I became a christian just over 4 years ago. When you were describing how you gave your life to Jesus in the prison, I totally related to it. I too had a dramatic change. I wanted to give up on my life so many times but God saved me. He resucued me from the pit of despair and gave me life.

It seems so long ago since that day but God has done mighty things in me. I am forever grateful.

Thank you for sharing your story.......for seeking God....for being honest about your mistakes and your brokeness. It has humbled me so much.

God BLess.

Sophie

Dear Tony,

Recently, I read your "autobiography", Taming the Tiger. How wonderful it was! I myself am a Christian and Martial Artist (Tae-kwon-do), and particularly enjoyed the parts in the book about your training. It makes my training sound like nothing, though it certainly doesn't feel like nothing sometimes!
You're time in prison sounds awful, yet amazing! How wonderful to have been converted in this way, though I think it was a shame that you had to experience an extreme to come to Jesus.
Your life after prison was particularly amazing in the book, as you were so eager to evangelise to the youth of today.
The way you converted some of the toughest prison members to Christ was absolutely amazing! It must have been amazing to watch everyone suddenly being nice and worshiping and praying!
Thank you once again for providing me and many others with such a great book to read about you, but also about Jesus!

Tony,
Just to let you know that 6 of the people who were baptised last night, testified that they had given their lives to the Lord when you were preaching. Praise the Lord.
I am still working on the potential movie thing.

Hi Tony,

Just thought I'd write a short email with some FANTASTIC NEWS!!!! I showed my year 5 class a DVD from when you were here in 2006, this afternoon. They really enjoyed listening to your testimony! The DVD stopped though just as you were about to pray with the people who went up for the altar call. The class turned to look at me, worried that they wouldn't be able to pray!

I led them in prayer and 9 children gave their hearts to the Lord! Praise God for His goodness, mercy and grace!

God bless!
Lisa

"Mister Tony, may God bless you.
I give thanks to God that gave me the chance to read one of your works
"Cry of the Tiger".
I come from Cameroon, I'm a child of God, new-born Christian, and this
book scared me at first but at the end I understood that God has a plan
for you. I can assure you that this testimony affected me and gave me a
new courage to do evangelism.
My prayer is that God gives you strength and give you the chance to
continue to share this testimony everywhere in the world.
May God fill you with His peace and your group as well.
I would like to know more about you and your ministry."

Dear Brother Tony,
I am for a business trip in Finland at the moment. To support my well being during the trip and to relax a little bit I bought your book Taiming tiger.
I just finished the book. I want to thank you for creating this book. It touched my soul and brought me to tears.
There is so much recognition in your stories. Although I have had a very  'decent' life, meaning no Kung Fu, jail etc, I really feel what you have been going through. So many situations in which I go my way, instead of listening to God.
I am already Christian for quit some years. Your book brought me back to the basics. Your book is having the same impact as after I finished the book of Randy Alcorn 'safely home', about the chinese guy in prison, but so close to God.
A few years ago you were the special guest in our church, The Bethel, in Drachten the Netherlands. I now feel sorry that I have not been attending this sermon to listen to your story.
It would be nice to meet you one time, to encourage each other to listen to God through the Holy Ghost.
Brother Tony, please let yourself be used by God to spread the good news! You encouraged me to intensify to do the same.
May God bless you and your ministry.
Greetings from Holland,
Edwin

Dear Tony

I have just read your book Taming The Tiger and i want you to know I'm going to tell people about you and use your story to help them come to Christ.
I will also tell them how you inspired me to be a better person, and to always persevere in faith. Your story has inspired me to become a better person, thankyou.

From Natalie.

Dear Tony

I have just finished reading you book taming the tiger. I found some of the experinces you wrote about very similar to experinces i have be through. It held put things in perspective. I like you started with a "hobby" boxing when i was a young person and i loved it but it soon started taking over my life i started enjoying the violence inside and outside the ring. I then moved into doing close protection where i was opperating in Iraq. Everything in my life was going along great. I thought i had turned over a new leaf stopped being agressive. met a lovely girl and got married. Then on 11 may this year i was envolved in an IED where i was injured fairy bad. I thought how could this happen to me know that i had changed my life around. It only took a couple of day to realise how much it has been a blessing i have had all this time to spend with my wife Anne.Who gave birth to our daughter (summer marie) in july. If i had still been fit to work i would not have been there for our daughter. Reading your book about being broken and finding the lord really hit home. I am truly greatfull i try to share my story with people. i just wanted to email you to say thank you for you book it helped explane things.

Take Care

Chris

Hi Tony,

My names Ron, just wanted to say like many others who have found your story life changing, and an awsome example to relate to. It has a certain message which speaks volumes to my heart. I expect you get replies like this all the time but never get sick of them because of the great joy they bring ya :),I just wanted to say you've had an impact in my life and i'm greatful for meeting you in my walk as a follower of christ.(even though I wasn't aware of it at the present time haha).

Just finished reading your book this very day, i'm overjoyed to hear what your doing in your community and pray that it is continuing to help you grow in your faith for the Lord brother.

P.S (I've always had it in my heart to visit England one day but never really knew why, but I know that the closer I draw to God each day the clearer it will become."I love that blind faith stuff", reminds me who my real faith is in...)

Thanks for your ears bro ;)

Hi Tony,

One of my friends gave me your book '' Taming The Tiger'' as my birthday
present. It really made a good reading. I couldn't put down the book
once I started the first page, I was really moved by your story of how
you have been transformed by religion.

I have a question though, you were bad tempered and jailed in the
notorious Cyprus prison. Life must have been really tough and dark, how
long did it take for you to believe in God?

I really admire the mindset you had had at that time, some people are
too depressed and even give up their life when there is a
complicated unsolved issue lays before them, but you have the
perseverance in the presence of God, and made that your life turning point.

Anyway thanks for wrting this book it really inspires me!!

Cheers,

Chin

Dear Tony Anthony,

Thank you for writing your story in your book.  Jesus is ALLMIGHTY.
We, my wife Chris, Ben 14 and Tom 12, live in Belgium. Some years ago we met David Hamilton, a former Irish terrorist. His story reminds me of yours. You probably read his book.

As a business man I met business people from Israël, just after we had bought your book. They told me they are also into these martial things. They knew your name from these world championships.

I did some aikido for a short while, so that helped me to understand it a little bit better.

In the midle of September I go to a dairy fair in Birmingham. Hopefully I can go to Portsmouth as well to see some old friends. On the Hard 16-18 we helped to construct the Genesis Expo there; this is a museum to give glory to our Creator. Entrance is free.

May the Lord bless you and your family.

Best regards,

Ferdy.

Hi Mr Anthony,

I just want to say thank you so much.

This morning, I asked for forgiveness and gave my life to Jesus and i'm so so happy that I did.

I was just sitting alone, reading my Bible, I read John 3, 16 again and I felt something really stong and I just started praying, and that's when I asked God to come into my life forever.

I can't help thinking that if it wasn't for your book, I probably would never have discovered the Lord in this way, so again, thank you.

I really want to grow spiritually, so could you recommend anything, like books or Christian gatherings or something, so that I can try to help my friends to come to Jesus too.

Thank you and may God bless you.

Amy

Hello Tony.

That was just to give jou a basic idee of who I am Tony. My fiance sent me your book 'Taming the Tiger' and I have just finished reading your amazing book and true life story. I just want to thank you and Jesus for making it possible for me to learn about your amzing life story.

Tony, your book and testemony made me realise, once again, what a great gift whe have been given by Jesus as new borne Christians. You, with the help of Christ gave me new 'fual' to speak about Jesus more open to people in a place like this and for that I'm most greatful.

It would be an honour for me to hear from you Tony and I would like to keep in touch with your ministrie for more inspiration on how to be a 'light in the darknes'.

Thank you Tony and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Tony and Sara,
My name is Eva.I just finished to read your book.I firs heard you on
TV,in "Zone e Lire" show in Albania.I am from Albania and now I'm
serving God in Kosovo with CCC,Campus Crusade For Christ ministry which is
an organization that has a purpose to share the gospel with the students
and help them to know Christ more as they get involved in bible
studies.
The reason why I am writing is to greet you about this book, but most
of them to tell you that you have touched my heart with this.I have
cried, laughed and praised God through all the reading of the book.I want
to tell you that for sure you have touched and helped a lot of people
to know God,and to love Him, but you have to know that you have touched
my heart too.My pray is that this book will accomplish the reason why
you wrote it and mostly that God will use it in the heart and life of
everyone who will read it.
I don't know if I will ever  have the chance to meet you but I know
that in haven I will have the privilege to talk to you and give God
thanks and praise for our lives. You and you family will always be in my
prayer. My heroes in bible are David and Paul, but know I have also another
hero for his faith and heart for the Gospel, and that's you my
brother.I am honored to call you brother and Sara sister.I don't know you
personally but it's like I have known you,and cried with your suffer.Praise
God for His love among his children.
I have to ask for a big favor...if I can have a picture of your
family so I can hang it on my prayer corner and pray for you.
Be blessed my friends and may God's love flow from your heart more
than ever,more than before.
  In His love,
  Eva

Dear Sarah
Just to says thanks for everything you all did for us this last weekend. The response to both events has been wholly positive, as you should start to see on the website (we've now included a page for feedback). Sunday evening was thrilling in that so many came from a vast cross section of churches and many went away enthused for next year and others challenged about their own relationship with the Lord.
In my assessment thought the response to Saturday was even more significant. I haven't spoken to one person yet who isn't now wanting to get the actual gospel to their friends rather than just witnessing to them! So we'll be ordering a load of the booklets ASAP.
You'll love this bit - My two oldest, Charlotte (15) and James (12) who were both there on Saturday, went to school on Monday and talked to their friends about becoming their need to become a Christian. Charlotte gave her friend one of the books to read. I came home from work on Tuesday to be met at the door with 'You'll never guess what Dad,  .... became a Christian last night when she read the book!'. Then Jamie say to me 'And dad, ..... (the lad he'd been talking to) became a Christian last night as well'!!  How cool is that!
I've included an email (below) from a Pastor (who is also a good theologian/Bible scholar). I'm hope it will encourage you all. (And his one concern/exception can give you something to tweak!)
Anyway, didn't come on to be long, but just wanted to encourage you with this and to say thanks again and looking forward now to getting things in place for April.
God bless
Stuart

Well what can I say about Saturday. Since then I've been down to Essex twice wearing a wig and false beard etc...

No seriously. When I heard Tony speak last year I wondered where he was theologically(Good Pharisaic mindset!!!) but it  was hard to figure out given that in our evangelism we all appear Arminian. So I came along with some reservations. Although longing that God might move me and then move me to move a church. I have always been pegged as a bible teacher and that is more where my gifting lies but I long for opportunities to share the gospel, I long to do the work of an evangelist.

The content of the things shared was absolutely great, with one exception(didn't add that bit just to be dificult, rather honest). It is not often that a speaker can move me to tears but when Tony was speaking about the collapse of the great commission in the west, he's come closer than any other speaker I've ever heard. If that doesn't move us to action I'm not sure anything else could. There were times when he seemed to speak more with the authority of a prophetic to his generation for such a time as this. Everything that was shared was great with that one exception. The sources that were used were so broad, in terms of the theological spectrum, that no-one could not have agreed with the point being made that was true wisdom!!

The true genius of his stuff was redifining words and phrases over which the semantic range has clearly been controlled by the devil. In the end Tony was simply saying what Scripture says, which left us alone with God and His will. Do I say yes Lord or no chance!!!

Also the seven steps to get going were excellent in that they told you the answer to the 'how' question. But words are but words! I hope and pray that they bear fruit. For me, well I've been out yesterday purchasing gospel and tracts,as well as ordering them on-line. Even if it means going to Essex I am going somewhere to share this gospel with those outside the flock at BRBC.

Let me just add the one exception. Please hear this as it's intended, not critical in a negatve sense, if the same conference was to be run tomorrow I would go again!!! When the lady speaker tried to link gospel proclaimation and life together I think that perhaps she was trying to do something that Scripture wouldn't easily accommodate, at least not Mark 8: 35. To link the gift of life with one's proclaiming of the gospel is to move the fountain of life from the person of Christ and move it to the place of our obedience. Now I'm not saying the point that she was trying to make was adrift, since it is in walking in obedience to Him that we enjoy Him so much more, but she seemed to overemphasise the point toward a kind off 'if you preach the gospel you will have full-ness of life, if you don't you will have no life' type idea!! So full'ness of life is found in an act rather than in the enjoymeny of the Person of God. I think that if the obedience angle where worked a little more and gospel proc. drawn from it the points would stand unassailed, but if she were to teach that in certain circles my intense fear would be that they would ignore everything that was said simply on that one point.

I hope and pray that this teaching gets to every part of Christ's church in the west, it will be like water falling on thirsty ground. I am planning on teaching the whole thing to BRBC throughout January, I have already warned them that's it's coming.....

Stuart thank you so much for putting that day togther, I ope and pray that it will indeed be proven to have been a turning point in my walk with Him whom my soul loves, I truly felt that the day was all directed just for me.

I am sorry to take your valuable time, but I wanted to write you. I think you are a busy man, and that this e-mail will maybe never been read. If yo read this one day, please mail me back, Mr Anthony.
I am a 16 year old Belgian boy, my name's Kenneth.

I read Taming the tiger, your atobiography (in french), because i got nothing else to do...
A pastor gave it to my mother, to make me read it, because i love reading... And the story of your life changed mine...
I was smoking drugs, doing nothing at school, and I loved fighting... Once, i broke someone's leg because he was annoying me, a nose of some guy, someone's leg,... And I liked that feeling I got everytime I was fighting...
I can speak English because my father was American, but he left me and my mother when I was like eight years old, and i think that if I saw him, even a few months ago, I'd Kkilled him...
The first time i prayed was Two days ago, three days after a fight after school, two days after being caught smoking drugs while school... I read a few lines of your book that marked me, then i read my mother's Bible...
I will use your book, your lifestory (I don't know if this word exists) for a school work, in religion klass, and talk about avantiministries to my teacher.
But the first reason I wrote to you is to thank you, to show you my respect, because your book made me take concience of what i was becoming... I was violent, drugged, and did the most stupid thins at school and to my parents....
Thank you for making me change, because the words I read in your book are now writtten in my soul, in my mind.

I wish you a happy life with Sara, Ethan and Jacob, and God bless you,

                                                                                                 Kenneth

Hi Tony,
I heard you tell your story on Its A New Day on TV. I usually skip over lots of them because they dont really have "much to say", but it was in the middle of the program and you were on and right away I felt you had somethingn to say. Ive since read your book partly because you said George Verwer was promoting it. I know quite a bit about him and was sure I would read it. Now I too am buying and giving your book to friends!!
I have spent a few years recently in Taiwan and think it would be good to translate your book into Chinese. Im sure youve already thot about this, I would like to know what you think about that.
Also, my daughter read it and was interested to know what "chi" is and why you renounced your expertise in marchal arts.
Your book is very inspiring!! May you and your family have a great ministry!!  Blessings Pete

Tony may God bless you,Idon't know english very well but I will try to write in english,I am ayoung Ivorian and Ihave read your book,I don't know what to say about it,really Jesus dead for all,and I am very happy for you and I sheared tears for joy the day I finished reading the book,Iam in a french speaking country and I learnd english in school and Iam also serving GOD

Dear Tony,
I just wanted to say a huge thankyou again for coming to speak to our Year
9 and 10 students yesterday at Bishop Perowne. Your visit has certainly
made an impact. I've had pupils come up to me to tell me what page they're
up to in your book and how much they are enjoying it - a Year 9 muslim boy
is particularly grabbed by your book! As a follow up with my bottom set
Year 9 I asked them to write up their response to your visit and how it
affected them. I read a few and two of them said they had made a
commitment and now had a 'perfect' soul! I've not read them all yet so
there may be more.

I've had some more requests for books though would it be acceptable if I
contact you early next week with an amount, to give pupils a little more
time to see me.

We would really like you to visit us again at Bishop Perowne. My Head of
Department has asked me if this can be arranged for next year, the same
sort of time in December? I understand you are very busy so whenever you
are able to visit we would be delighted to accomodate you. I have emailed
Paul Wilcox at W.A.S.P. to let him know too, in case I need to book you
through him.

Thankyou Tony again, and Ray too, for giving up your time for the students
at Bishop Perowne.
God Bless you,
from Jan

Hi Tony,

I just wanted to write to you to show my admiration for what you do.

You came to my school in Essex more than three years ago an spoke of your story and gave us all a copy of your book.

To be honest at the time, i listened but wasn't interested because i am a non-beleiver and saw it as being yet another trying to convert many for comfort.
I have only just read the book and well there's no words to describe it. Although not a book worm, I became so engrossed in it, that i didnt want to stop reading, that I'd nearly burnt my flat down by not watching my cooking!

Although I went to a catholic school and went to a COE church for years i never have beleived in God. But for me, reading your story makes me realise how my life and the path I'm walking is where I'm meant to be an that I'd never feel like my life is ever worse than anyone else's as there always is.
I've had some bad times  like we all do, but we get through them. We have to. And it's the ones that pull through and share their story with others that makes a difference. Although it hasn't made me believe in God, It's made me more positive in life to know that one day i'll be helping people in my own way by using myself but almost promoting life rather than God.

I wish you all the best.

Becky

Good afternoon Mr. Anthony.
Let me first introduce myself....My name is Jason. I am a 3rd year chemical engineering student studying at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
I recently had the honour to read your wonderful book (Taming the tiger). In actual fact I just completed the book now on my way home from university. Whilst reading I thought I should "google" you in hope to find a email address, and as I read the last page I saw your website and email details. I really was so glad!.
You are probably inundated with fanmail, however I hope you don't see this as yet another fan. I am not much of a reader but after hearing my mom rave about your book I decided to give it a shot. I was glued from the very beginning. I have gone through some battles of my own, but it all seems so insignificant compared to what I have read about you. Your book has inspired me to strive to be a better Christian, despite the daily trails and temptations. I will be honest, sometimes my burdens seem insurmountable and even have tried to end my life (that was a few years ago, no one knew, and knows, about it).
There was once a time when I found my faith to be so strong, but then I started to experience failure and defeat, and without wanting to or even knowing, I slowly started to lose faith in the work of the Lord. I tried to live a good life, trusting in God and bringing all my problems before Him. I then began to question why God would allow me to fail and why He would allow bad things to happen to me. But I have learnt that being a Christian does not make your problems disappear, if anything the devil will try to tempt you and put hurdles in your path just to break you down, or even God teaching us something. I try my best to be a good Christian, however, sometimes when I am aware of my sins I cannot even pray and ask God for forgiveness in fear of Him being disappointed or even disgusted in me.
In essence im just thanking you for writing that book. It has been a blessing for me. My wish is that one day I could have an impact on someone's life the way you have impacted mine.
God Bless.
Jason

Dear Tony Anthony,
My name is Damien and I live in London.
I had never heard of you before
I was given your book by a good friend when I made my confirmation four
years ago.

I have always classed myself as a Christian, but as I grew into
adulthood I tended to put other things before God.  I have had a number
of trial in my life, that would have tested the faith of many a man, but
instead of turning to God I turned to drink and drugs. I was bitter and
resentful having lost both my parents, a brother (who was murdered), a
close cousin and a daughter all within two years.  It was not until my
second daughter became ill with cancer and I had to give up work to help
my wife look after her and our two other daughters, did I finally find
my way back to the church.

Your book has been an inspiration and I would like to thank you for
sharing story with the world.  I will take your story with me and share
it with those who need to see Gods work in action.

                                                     God Bless

                                                  Damien

Hi Tony,
Thank you very much for your book - Taming the Tiger.  It is a very encouraging book. I understand there are a lot of "comfortable" christian in the church today.  I praise the Lord that you a one of those very few who are truly carrying out the great commission of our Lord Jesus - to spread the Good New to the end of the earth.
Like you, a lot of things happen in my life that had taught me to understand what humility mean.  I accepted the Lord at a young age but due to my selfish self, I slipped into the 'wilderness for 21 years'.
Your book had encouraged me a lot.  I would like to buy some for my 'lost' friends".  I wonder if you have any agent in Sabah selling your books.  I would also like to have the other copy titled 'The cry of the tiger'  which was sold out on the night in Yayasan Sabah.
God bless you abundantly in your work with HIM that more lost souls will be saved.
Regards,
Catherine

Hello,

I am a French girl of 17 and I am doing the (difficult) effort to write to you in english because i really want to tell you something...

Your book is amazing ! I know you probably heard it a thousand times but i had to say it anyway. I just want to say : thank you. I understood so many things that weren't that clear by reading your story. It made me want to go further in my faith and to completly accept Jesus' way of thinking and not mine (as i have a tendancy to follow my plans and not his...) I don't want to forget about my decision to let him take control of my life ; and i know that your book is really helping me ! So thank you :)

May God continue to use you and richly bless you !!!

Héloïse

Hello Tony,

I have no idea how to start this email, but all i know is that something is
telling me to write to you.

I first heard your story on a cassette tape that was given to me by my
sister, who is a born again christian and attends Lymm baptist church, she
gave it me shortly after your visit there ( i think you visited Risley
prison too). I was blown away by your story and i even bought your book
(taming the tiger).

I have just finished reading it for the third time and wanted to say
thankyou, i dont really know where my belief lies, most of my family are
born again christians, yet dont ram it down my throat, my brother and i have
similar views on this, but still something niggles me when i get invited to
church, i feel tearful and lost, sometimes i pray, but if im honest its only
when i need something or feel lonely.
I have many views but if shared you would be reading this next week. Im
going to send your book to my brother who lives in New Zealand, who's wife
has just turned to the lord, as you can imagine my family are extatic.

Thanks again Tony

John

To Mr Anthony,
A few years ago you visited my church youth group in Shoebury, shared your story with us and gave us each a copy of your book. I didn't read it straight away, in fact I read it for the first time this week and since finishing it this  morning, I can't stop thinking about it and the stuff you said in it about Jesus.
I've always gone to Church, but only  because my mum's always taken me and its just been routine and i've never really felt anything spiritually. It has just been something to do on a Sunday morning.  But your book has really made me think about life, the mistakes that I regularly make and that i'd like to do something to sort it out, but your book has made me realise I can't do it on my own and that I need the help of Jesus, not just now, but for ever, with everything I do.
I got hold of a Bible this afternoon and read some passages from John's Gospel, the parts mentioned in the book. I am overwhelmed by the fact that Jesus was sent to die because God loves us that much, and I think I would really like to know Jesus better, and hopefully learn to live my life for Him, but i'm really not sure where to start and i'm still a bit confused.
I want to thank you for reading this and for all the help your book has already given me, and I would be really greatfull if you could reply, although I understand if you haven't any time.
Thank you again, so much.

Dear Tony,
I felt compelled to write this email to you after completing your wonderful book Taming the Tiger today. It was given to me by my local vicar after I turned up on his door with nowhere else to turn to. I have not grown up in a Christian house or had any faith in God or Jesus but I needed forgiveness for recent actions, and that was the only place to go. I too know what violence and hate feels like, I needed to change my life and get on to a new path. Reading your book inspired me so much and helped me to realise that this is indeed the only way to peace and happiness.
Thank you for such an inspirational book. I only hope that I will learn to see Gods lessons through my pain and my path ahead will allow me to continue to grow.
God bless,
James

bonjour,
I do not know if your words of encouragement touched the heart of my nephew, Christophe, but your testimony convinced my husband to ask for the baptism.
one year ago, I asked for the divorce;God's answer was :" Pray for your husband"
eight month later, he turned to the Lord ,Jésus-Christ.
thank you nmy God; thank you Tony
