GLO is a ministry passionate about working with girls, helping them to get through whatever they face and to help them see themselves as the brilliant people they actually are. The Bible says that ‘we are fearfully and wonderfully made’ (Psalm 139), it does not matter about our height, size, colour, background or dress sense, we are beautiful, loved and significant!
GLO has been running for 8 months and in this time we have had 10 events called GLO Gatherings for 10-16 year olds. We now have a database of around 50 girls and are getting, on average, 20 girls per event. We meet in a local café with the aim of bringing these girls together to hang out, have a laugh, make friends, to support them and for them to become a support to each other. At each event the girls take home a postcard with a relevant Bible verse and message surrounding that verse with a challenge to help them apply it to their lives.
How Can I Support GLO?

Time – If you have a skill or work somewhere that could come along side GLO we would be very happy to hear your ideas!
Finance – GLO is funded through donations. It cannot progress without the generosity of others. £3 a month covers the cost of a girl attending each GLO Gathering.
Prayer – Please remember this ministry in your prayers. Pray for all the girls who attend and also that God will continue to provide for this ministry.
