I was born on the edge of the Lake District and raised in a small market town called Bentham. I had lots of love and attention in my early years but this was going to prove to be my downfall in years to come! As I became older my character took on a selfish arrogance and at times a violent trait became apparent, this steadily became to be normal behaviour in my life.
Things became fairly stable for a while, then I became reckless towards people and caused a lot of hurt amongst those who loved me the most and from that came depression. I felt such a let down to my wife and family that the only way out of this was to end it all.
The devil was having his way. I felt there was no hope, no clarity and no meaning to this thing we call life! Thankfully a wonderful Christian couple rescued me and recognised my problems. They came along side me, meeting my needs and opened my eyes to very thing I needed but hadn't been able to put my finger on for all those years - JESUS CHRIST. He is my Lord and saviour and it is my heart felt desire to reach others who are lost and hurting, in this broken world we live in.
